Leopoldo Pomรฉs :: ‘La Vasquitaโ€™, Barcelona, 1958 / source: Diari Ara

In 1957 Pomรฉs was commissioned by editor Carlos Barral to photograph the city of Barcelona. After a year of work, Carles Seix (Barralโ€™s partner) dismissed the publication of the book because he considered the photographs depicts Barcelona in a gloomy way. In 2012 [55 years later]ย Fundaciรณ Foto Colectania decided to organise an exhibition and published the book.
