Man Ray ::Ā Meret Oppenheim’s arm in Marcoussis’s studio, 1933. From a suite of photographs entitled Ćrotique-voilĆ©e (Veiled Eroticism), Man Rayās photograph shows his then assistant, fellow-Surrealist Meret Oppenheim, in the print studio of Louis Marcoussis. Oppenheimās left forearm is stretched out and smeared with the black ink of an etching press, behind a large copper printing-press wheel.
